Like a thermal imager, the acoustic camera identifies the location of the maximum noise on the screen and displays it in color on the instrument's recording screen according to the noise level. This technology helps users determine the maximum noise point in the most intuitive way and is very easy to use. The measured sound images can be collected in the form of photos or videos.
The MSV handheld analyzer is an acoustic camera developed by ACB Engineering, France, with eight microphones in an array setting and a 10" color touchscreen.
Using a unique interactive matrix computing, the maximum noise source is located and displayed on the image screen in real time. The images can be stored as photos or videos.
Available modules:
MSV(1): Total frequency band 160~5000Hz real-time measurement, display and recording of sound images
MSV(2): MSV(1) + eight frequency bands (choose one to display) for real-time measurement, display and recording of sound images
MSV(3): MSV(1) + MSV(2) + transient (e.g., knocking sound) real-time measurement, display and recording of sound image
