LION Spindle Rotation Accuracy and Thermal Expansion Analyzer

Capacitive sensors are used to measure the dynamic displacement changes in the three directions of the spindle. Five sets of capacitive sensors are mounted on the X, Y, X 2 , Y 2 and Z directions of the standard bar, and seven sets of temperature sensors are attached to the spindle and machine tool at various points. The displacement data is transferred to the SEA software for processing and cal-culation. The spindle performance is displayed in graphical and numerical form for easy viewing.

The LION Precision SEA system is used to measure and analyze the dynamic performance of spin-dles.

  • Synchronous error, asynchronous error, thermal drift, vibration analysis, etc.
  • Spindle performance can be optimized and continuously improved based on SEA system data
